Effective January 1, 2020, Voigt-Abernathy is pleased to announce the purchase of Universal Machine in Dallas, NC (Charlotte area).
Founded in 1972, Universal Machine is a precision machining facility, providing sales and service to the Atlantic coast region from Maryland to Georgia. They specialize in gear cutting, CNC turning and milling, ID & OD grinding, and other manual machining. They employ highly skilled machinist specialists with many years of experience. Universal Machine company operates out of a 19,600 sq. foot facility just outside the greater Charlotte area.
Transitioning immediately to Voigt-Abernathy, this facility will be our Voigt-Abernathy – Universal Machine Division. We are excited to bring Universal Machine to the Voigt-Abernathy family, as their services will greatly enhance our repairing and machining capability. Universal Machine is extremely customer-focused, which is consistent with our mission statement.
