Close Coupled Pumps
A close-coupled pump refers to a type of centrifugal pump where the pump and motor are integrated into a single compact unit, with the pump impeller directly mounted on the motor shaft. This design eliminates the need for a separate coupling between the pump and motor, resulting in a more compact and space-efficient configuration. Close-coupled pumps are easy to install, maintain, and service due to their simplified design and fewer components. They are commonly used in various industrial, commercial, and municipal applications for water circulation, HVAC systems, irrigation, and general fluid transfer where a compact and efficient pump solution is required.

Immersed Pumps
These pumps are sealed units with the motor and pump assembly housed together and are often used in applications like drainage, sewage handling, groundwater pumping, and wastewater treatment. Immersed pumps are efficient because they push fluid directly without the need for priming, and they are suitable for various depths and challenging environments where continuous and reliable pumping is required.

Self Priming Pumps
A self-priming pump is a type of centrifugal pump that is capable of automatically evacuating air from the suction line and creating a vacuum to draw fluid into the pump casing, enabling it to start pumping without the need for external priming. This ability makes self-priming pumps ideal for applications where the pump must handle air-containing or vapor-containing fluids, such as in sewage systems, irrigation, and certain industrial processes. The design of self-priming pumps includes special features like a priming chamber or a recirculation system that facilitates the creation of suction and ensures reliable operation even under conditions where the suction source may be above the pump’s location.
