Voigt-Abernathy is excited to announce the purchase and opening of our Gulf Coast Service Center and Sales Office facilities in Axis, AL. This expansion is part of our overall strategic growth plan and will provide an enhanced level of service to key Voigt-Abernathy markets, both existing and new. Based on feedback from key customers in the Gulf Coast market, increasing sales momentum and the confidence of our key product line principals, we feel that this is the right time and place to continue our growth.
We have purchased and recently renovated established warehouse, shop and office facilities in an existing building that is located on Highway 43 in Axis, AL. The interior of the facility was completely stripped and updated to improve appearance and functionality. We have front office space for a new Inside Sales/Application Specialist, and for our Gulf Coast sales engineers. We have air conditioned warehouse space for the inventory of small parts, plus a conventional shop & warehouse area for storage and handling of larger items, plus machining, milling, welding and metalizing operations.
Voigt-Abernathy has recently hired a Inside Sales/Application Specialist, along with a Pump Service Technician (Mechanic). These additional personnel will enhance the level of customer service and rotating equipment service provided to all of the customers in the Gulf Coast Market Area. And in the Voigt-Abernathy way, these personnel will have the technical ability, skills and training to fully support the sales growth of our key product line manufacturers.
Our new Mobile Service Center is in the “heart” of Highway 43 and “right down the road” from our major heavy industrial customers. We are also only approximately 30 minutes away from major chemical process facilities in Theodore, AL.
